The Royal Oak Rye Foreign has a strong and growing dining trade. Our balanced menu usually features selections of from the range of traditional Royal Oak favourites like Steak and Mushroom Pudding, Liver and Onions and locally made Sausages.
Our daily specials also features a delicious selection of home made dishes – scallops, pasta, salads, steaks, chicken and roasts are available regularly.
All our dishes are prepared on the premises – definitely no boil in the bag meals at the Royal Oak Rye Foreign!! Our ingredients are fresh and wherever possible locally sourced.
To accompany your meal, we stock an excellent range of affordable wines and the bar sells a great selection of beers and lagers, with cask ales and lagers supplemented by a large selection of bottled beers and continental lagers.
The kitchen is open for lunches and dinners every day except Sunday evenings and all day Mondays.
